Electronic Leak Detectors

Whenever a refrigerant leak is suspected in the system or a service operation performed which results in disturbing lines or connections, it is recommended to test for leaks.
For restricted access areas, an electronic leak detector J-23400 or equivalent should be used.
The H-10 leak detector No. J-26934 or equivalent, is a 110 volt AC powered tester, while the refrigerant leak detector No. J-29547 or equivalent, is a portable, battery operated model. Both models provide visual and/or audible signals to indicate leak detection.
The successful use of electronic leak detectors depends upon carefully following the manufacturer's instructions regarding calibration, operation and maintenance.
Battery condition is especially important to the accuracy of the portable battery powered model and is monitored by a low battery indicator.
