Installation

1. Inspect O-ring seals on each end of the pressure hose and on the gear end of the return hose and replace if necessary.
- Install pressure and return hoses into power steering pump.
- Torque: 27.5 Nm (20 ft. lbs.)
2. Install pump into vehicle.
3. Fill power steering reservoir with clean power steering fluid.
4. Install power steering pump reservoir fill cap.
5. Connect negative battery cable.
- Torque: 17 Nm (151 inch lbs.)
6. Bleed power steering system. (Refer to "Power Steering Bleed Procedure.")
