Transmission/Transaxle

REMOVAL
1. Remove air induction system and air filter box from the battery tray and move aside to provide access to the sensor.





2. Disconnect electrical connector from transaxle fluid temperature sensor, use pliers to squeeze connector while removing.
3. Remove transaxle fluid temperature sensor.





INSTALLATION
1. Apply sealant with Teflon P/N 21485278 or equivalent on threads before installing.
2. Install transaxle fluid temperature sensor.
- Torque: 8 N.m (71 inch lbs.).
3. Connect electrical connector to transaxle fluid temperature sensor.
4. Install air box and install three air box bolts.
5. Install air induction system.
- Torque: 10 N.m (89 inch lbs).
6. Replace any fluid lost.
