Transaxle Fluid Temperature Sensor



TRANSAXLE TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL

Air Induction System:




1. Remove air induction system and air filter box from the battery tray and move aside to provide access to the sensor.

Sensor Removal:




2. Disconnect electrical connector from transaxle temperature sensor. Use pliers to squeeze connector while removing.
3. Remove sensor.

INSTALLATION

Assembly:




1. Apply sealant with Teflon� P/N 21485278 or equivalent on threads before installing.
2. Install sensor.
- Torque: 8 N.m (71 in-lbs)
3. Connect electrical connector to sensor.
4. Install air box and install three air box bolts.
5. Install air induction system.
- Torque: 8 N.m (71 in-lbs)
6. Replace any fluid lost.
