Power Mirror Motor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL




1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Remove mirror glass.
(1) Mirror trim panel.
(2) Mirror insulator (right side shown, left typical).
3. Remove interior trim cover.
4. Remove foam filler.
5. Disconnect electrical connector from door harness. Remove attaching screws.
6. Unseat harness grommet and remove motor.

INSTALLATION




1. Connect electrical connector and seat grommet.
2. Install foam filler.
3. Install motor.
4. Install screws and tighten.

Torque: 3 N.m (27 in-lbs)

5. Snap mirror glass assembly onto motor.
6. Install trim cover.
7. Connect negative battery cable.
8. Set clock.
