Parking Brake System: Service and Repair


REMOVAL
1. Disable the Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) System. Refer to Disabling the SIR System.
2. Remove console. Refer to Console.
3. Disconnect indicator switch electrical connector.





4. Remove switch. Use screwdriver to pry up switch.

INSTALLATION





1. Pull park brake lever up; push switch tabs into slot until secure.
2. Connect park brake indicator switch electrical connector.
3. Install console. Refer to Console.
4. Enable the SIR System. Refer to Enabling the SIR System.
