Removal
1.
Disable the SIR System. (Refer to "Disabling the SIR System".)
2.
Remove console. (Refer to "Console Removal" procedure.)
3.
Disconnect connector from Brake Transaxle Shift Interlock
(BTSI) solenoid.
4.
Using a screw driver, disconnect plastic retainers at solenoid base and at the park lock lever.
5.
Remove solenoid from shifter assembly.
