Outside Rear View Mirror

REMOVAL




1. Remove mirror trim panel by pulling outward.
(1) Mirror trim panel.
2. Loosen set screw and disconnect cable from trim panel on manual mirror.
(2) Mirror insulator (right side shown, left typical).




3. Remove foam filler from door frame.
4. Disconnect harness connector if right hand electric mirror.




5. Remove nuts from mirror assembly and remove mirror and seal.

INSTALLATION
1. Install seal on mirror assembly.
2. If equipped with right hand side electric mirror, connect electrical connector.

Torque: 10 N.m (89 in-lbs)

3. Install mirror assembly to door. Install nuts and tighten.
4. Install foam filler to door frame.
5. Install mirror cable into trim panel and tighten set screw on manual mirror.

Torque: 3 N.m (27 in-lbs)

6. Install trim panel to door frame.
