Charging System Light Functional Test

^ The battery should show a green indicator. If it does not, follow the battery charging instructions in the battery.
^ The connection to the generator and battery are clean and secure.
1. Turn the ignition key to OFF position.
2. The charge telltale lamp should be Off.
3. Turn the ignition key to ON position.
4. The charge telltale lamp should illuminate.
5. Crank the engine. The telltale should turn Off and stay Off once the engine is running.
