Dash Insulator Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front of dash insulator retainers.
2. Cut the front of dash insulator at the brake booster and the brake line.
3. Pull upward on the insulator to remove it from the front of the dash.
4. After the dash insulator has been removed, apply an elpo coating to any dash area that may have been scratched while cutting.



Installation Procedure





1. Cut the material on the new front of dash insulator as shown on the illustration prior to installing the insulator.
2. Slide the front of dash into the vehicle from the top.
3. Put the vehicle on a hoist.
4. Grab the insulator from the bottom and pull down. Continue until the insulator has been properly positioned in the vehicle.
5. Install the front of dash insulator retainers.
