Front Seat Adjuster Motor Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the outer valance fasteners and partially remove the valance.




2. Disconnect the power seat height adjuster motor wiring harness from the motor.
3. Remove the power seat height adjuster motor fasteners and remove the motor.



Installation Procedure





1. Connect the electrical connection to the seat height adjuster motor.
2. Position the seat height adjuster motor to the seat adjuster while pushing on the seat cushion to align the motor gears to the seat adjuster.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the fasteners.

Tighten the power seat height adjuster motor-to-seat adjuster fasteners to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).





4. Install the outer valance with the fasteners.
