Hydraulic System Junction Block: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

NOTICE: After removing brake pipe nuts, do not excessively pull or bend brake pipes away from proportioning valve.

NOTICE: Plug open brake pipes to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.





1. Remove brake pipes from manifold valve.





2. Remove manifold valve-to-bracket attachment bolt.

INSTALLATION
1. Position manifold valve in vehicle and install attachment bolt.
Torque: 5 Nm (44 inch lbs.)
2. Install brake pipes-to-manifold valve.
Torque: 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.)
3. Fill brake fluid reservoir with clean brake fluid up to "MAX" mark on reservoir.
4. Bleed brakes.
