Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL





1. Remove transaxle case side cover.
2. Remove TFP switch assembly bolts.
3. Remover TFP switch assembly from control valve body assembly. The TFP switch O-rings are reusable if not damaged, and should remain with switch assembly.

INSTALLATION
1. Inspect TFP switch assembly in order to verify the condition and correct location of pressure switch O-rings. If necessary, replace O-rings.
2. Install TFP switch assembly onto control valve body assembly, and install bolts.
Torque: 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs.)
3. Install transaxle case side cover.
4. Start engine, warm up transaxle, and check for leaks.
5. Check for proper fluid level.
