Control Assembly, HVAC

REMOVAL





1. Disable Restraint Systems.
2. Remove console.
3. Using a screwdriver disconnect control cable end from pin on control assembly.
4. Remove control cable retaining clip.
5. Depress tabs on control cable and remove cable from control assembly.





6. Disconnect control assembly electrical connectors.





7. Remove control assembly-to-floor pan bolts and remove control assembly.
8. Transfer parts as needed. Refer to appropriate procedures.

INSTALLATION

1. Install control assembly into vehicle and install control assembly-to-floor pan bolts.
Torque: 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.)





2. Connect control assembly electrical connectors.





3. Connect control cable to pin on control assembly.
4. Secure control cable into control assembly by pushing into place.
5. Install control cable retaining clip.
6. Install console.
7. Enable the Restraint Systems.
