Differential

Tools Required
- SA9211T2-5th Gear Puller
- SA9211T4-Thread on Adapter
- 87-92-210-Differential Bearing Support
- SA9120T-Differential Bearing Installer
- SA9172G-Ball Detent Handle

Disassembly





1. Mount differential in a vise with soft jaws.

NOTICE: Thread on adapter SA9211T4 must be used on puller SA9211T-2 when removing differential bearings. If adapter is not used, the puller can be damaged.

2. Remove differential bearings using puller SA9211T-2 with adapter SA9211T4. Use differential bearing support 87-92-210 as a base for the puller as shown.

ASSEMBLY





3. Press differential bearings onto differential assembly using differential bearing installer SA9120T and handle SA9172G. Use bearing support 87-92-210 under the differential as shown.
4. To change the differential bearing races, refer to procedures in "Clutch Housing Disassembly/Assembly" and "Transaxle Case Disassembly/Assembly".
