Information on Front Brake Rotor Minimum Thickness After Refinish and Discard Thickness Specifications
MODELS AFFECTED:
2000-2002 Saturn L-Series Vehicles
PURPOSE:
The purpose of this bulletin is to provide revised front brake rotor specifications and to update all 2000/2001 and 2002 L-Series Brakes Service Manuals.
Please obtain all 2000/2001 and 2002 L-Series Brakes Service Manuals at your location and update as indicated.
1. In the 2000/2001 L-Series Brakes Service Manual:
^ On page 11, under Front Brake Rotors, cross out the specifications values for Brake Rotors Minimum Thickness After Refinish and Discard Thickness and write in the values from the table shown.
^ On page 67, in Front Rotor Thickness Chart, cross out the specifications values for Minimum after Turning and Discard and write in the values from the table.
2. In the 2002 L-Series Brakes Service Manual:
^ On page 19, under Front Brake Rotors, cross out the specifications values for Brake Rotors Minimum Thickness After Refinish and Discard Thickness and write in the values from the table.
^ On page 77, in Front Rotor Thickness Chart, cross out the specifications values for Minimum after Turning and Discard and write in the values from the table.
