Return Hose

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Drain coolant. (Refer to "Draining Coolant".)





3. Remove return hose to surge tank clamp and remove hose from surge tank.
4. Open engine harness clip and push harness upwards to allow access to hose clamp.





5. Remove return hose to block fitting clamp.
6. Cut harness to return hose trap and remove return hose.

INSTALLATION





1. Install and position return hose to surge tank fitting and block fitting.
2. Install return hose to block fitting clamp at 1 o'clock position.





3. Install return hose to surge tank clamp at 2 o'clock position.
4. Install engine wiring harness into retainer clip and snap closed.
5. Trap engine harness to return hose as shown.





6. Connect negative battery cable.
^ Torque: 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.)
7. Fill cooling system. (Refer to "Coolant Replacement".)
8. Use fresh water to rinse away any coolant that was spilled during service.
