Radiator Degas Hose


REMOVAL





1. Drain coolant. (Refer to "Draining Coolant".)
2. Remove cooling fan relay module from battery bracket and place beside battery.
3. Remove radiator degas hose to surge tank clamp and remove hose from surge tank.





4. Remove left headlight upper bolts.





5. Remove degas hose from plastic clip at rail.
6. Gently pull headlight assembly forward and pull radiator degas hose between headlight assembly and crossmember.





7. Remove radiator degas hose to radiator clamp.
8. Remove radiator degas hose from radiator fitting and remove.

INSTALLATION





1. Install radiator degas hose to radiator fitting.





2. Gently pull headlight assembly forward and insert radiator degas hose between headlight assembly and forward rail.
3. Install degas hose into plastic clip at rail.





4. Position radiator degas hose between washer fluid neck and fender rail.
5. Install radiator degas hose to surge tank fitting. Install radiator degas hose to surge tank clamp at 12 o'clock position.





6. Install left headlamp assembly bolts.
^ Torque: 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.)
7. Install radiator degas hose to radiator clamp at 1 o'clock position.
8. Install cooling fan relay module on battery bracket.
9. Fill coolant system. (Refer to "Coolant Replacement".)
10. Use fresh water to rinse away coolant that was spilled during service.
