Park Lock Cable Operational Check

1. Set parking brake.

2. Ensure that shift lever is in "P" (park) position.

3. Remove ignition key from ignition switch.

4. Depress shift lever button and use normal effort to attempt to move shift lever out of "P" (park) position.

^ If shift lever can be moved out of "P" (park) position, perform the "PARK LOCK CABLE ADJUSTMENT" procedure in this bulletin.

^ If shift lever cannot be moved out of "P" (park) position, continue to next step.

5. Affix Campaign Completion Label on a clean and dry surface of radiator core support, in an area clearly visible when hood is raised. (For more information, refer to "CAMPAIGN COMPLETION LABEL" in this bulletin.)
