Front Door Window Glass: Service and Repair

REMOVAL




1. Remove door trim panel.
2. Remove speaker.
3. Partially remove water deflector to access openings in door structure.




4. Lower window to access window insulator (slide clip) retention tabs. If regulator has failed in the full up position, lower window and regulator as an assembly.




5. Disengage front slide clip from sash by depressing retention tab and sliding sash forward. Repeat for rear window insulator (slide clip).

6. When window is disconnected, rotate and remove from door.

INSTALLATION

NOTE: Before installing door window, clear window guide of any debris.




1. Install door window into door, aligning sash with window insulators (slide clips) and window with guides.
2. Slide sash rearward onto window insulators (slide clips).
3. Check operation and alignment of door window.




4. Install speaker.
5. Install water deflector.
6. Install door trim panel.
