Front Wiper Control

LOW SPEED OPERATION
Wiper switch in the LO position. Power is fed through circuit 96 from the front wiper motor to the front wiper switch terminal E. Current flows through a resistor (RL) to the LO contact of the wiper switch. When the front wiper switch is turned to the LO position, current flows through the closed contacts of the switch to terminal A of the front wiper switch and grounds through circuit 350. The logic control of the front wiper motor senses the voltage and runs the front wiper motor at low speed.

HIGH SPEED OPERATION
Wiper switch in the HI position. Power is fed through circuit 92 from the front wiper motor to the front wiper switch terminal E Current flows to the HI contact of the wiper switch. When the front wiper switch is turned to the HI position, current flows through the closed contacts of the switch to terminal A of the front wiper switch and grounds through circuit 350. The logic control of the front wiper motor senses the voltage and runs the front wiper motor at high speed.

INT/MIST OPERATION
When intermittent or mist operation of the windshield wiper is selected, power is fed through circuit 96 from front wiper motor to the front wiper switch terminal E. Current flows through a resistor (RL) to the INT contact of the wiper switch. When the front wiper switch is turned to the INT position, current flows through the resistors in posit ion 1, 2 or 3 of the INT contacts to terminal A of the front wiper switch and grounds through circuit 350. The logic control of the front wiper motor senses the resistance and runs the front wiper motor with the selected delay.

If the front wiper switch is turned to the MIST position, current flows through the closed switch contacts to terminal A. and grounds through circuit 350. When MIST function is activated, the wiper arms will cycle one time, and then park.

Intermittent Wiper Delay Operation
The intermittent wiper delay switch has three switch positions.
^ Delay 1 (2000 ohms resistance, 1 swipe every 12 seconds)
^ Delay 2 (1000 ohms resistance, 1 swipe every 7 seconds)
^ Delay 3 (500 ohms resistance, 1 swipe every 2 seconds)
