Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Ignition Off.
2. Remove MAP sensor attachment bolts.
3. Disconnect MAP sensor harness connector.
4. Remove MAP sensor and port seal.

INSTALLATION
1. Clean any debris from intake manifold vacuum port hole.

NOTE: Port seal must be installed halfway into intake manifold before installing MAP sensor to prevent seal damage.

2. Install port seal in intake manifold.
3. Connect MAP sensor harness connector. Push in connector until a click is heard and pull back to confirm a positive engagement.
4. Install MAP sensor and attachment bolts.

Torque: 5 N.m (44 in-lbs)
