Valve Core - High Side

REMOVAL




1. Discharge refrigerant system using an approved refrigerant recovery system.
2. Using a back-up wrench to support service port base, use second wrench to remove valve assembly.

INSTALLATION




1. Lubricate valve assembly O-ring with mineral oil.
2. Thread valve assembly into service port base and tighten.

Torque:
Valve Assembly-to-Service Port Base Fastener: 12 N.m (106 in-lbs)

3. Evacuate, charge, and leak test A/C system.

NOTE: To prevent loss of refrigerant charge, make sure to install and tighten cap. Replace cap if seal is missing or damaged.
