Window - Front Door

REMOVAL




1. Remove trim panel.
2. Remove water deflector (carefully peel off).
3. Connect window switch and move window into UP position.




4. Remove lower rear window run channel by removing bolt and pulling the channel down to unhook it.
5. Run window to full down position.




6. Remove inside weatherstrip around window.
7. Run window up to half way.




8. Remove rear most regulator attachment bolt. Pull rear most regulator arm up and above door structure into door opening.




9. Remove window glass by tilting rear of glass upward and sliding up and out.

INSTALLATION




1. Install window glass by tilting rear of glass upward and sliding down and into regulator channel.
2. Move window to the down position.




3. Install inside weatherstrip around window.
4. Run window to up position.




5. Install lower window run channel by pushing the channel up to clip into place, and install bolt.

Torque:
Lower Rear Window Guide: 10 N.m (89 in-lbs)




6. Push glass rearward to seat in rear window run channel to bring pressure against rear channel and tighten rear most regulator attachment bolt.

Torque:
Rear Window Regulator Bolts: 10 N.m (89 in-lbs)

7. Disconnect window switch wires.

IMPORTANT: Replace water deflector if damaged.




8. Install water deflector.
9. Install trim panel.
10. Operate window to up and down position to check operation. If binding exists, inspect all weatherstrip and adjust as necessary.
