Rear Side Door Window Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Run window in 1/2 down position.
2. Remove door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
3. Remove water deflector (carefully peel off).




4. Remove inside weatherstrip around rear of window.




5. Remove window trim cover from rear of door.
6. Remove foam from door structure (behind trim cover).




7. Remove rear door window rear run channel guide and weatherstrip.




8. Remove window glass by tilting rear of glass upward and sliding up and out.

Installation Procedure




1. Install window glass by tilting rear of glass upward and sliding down and in.
2. Install rear door window run channel and weatherstrip.

Tighten the rear door window run channel bolts to 3 Nm (27 lb in).




3. Install inside weatherstrip around window.




4. Install foam into door structure, behind trim cover.
5. Install window trim cover to rear of door.




6. Install water deflector.
7. Install trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
8. Run window to up position and check operation. If binding exists, inspect all weatherstrip and adjust as necessary.
