Drive Belt: Service and Repair

ENGINE DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT:

REMOVAL

1. Depress tensioner arm using a 3/8 in. drive breaker bar.
2. Remove belt assembly off idler or A/C compressor pulley.)
3. Remove accessory drive belt.

INSTALLATION
1. Route belt around all pulleys, except for idler pulley.
2. Depress tensioner arm using 3/8 inch drive breaker bar.

NOTICE: Make sure that belt is properly aligned on pulleys.

3. Slip belt over idler pulley.
