MANIFOLD VALVE

REMOVAL

NOTICE: After removing brake pipe nuts, do not excessively pull or bend brake pipes away from proportioning valve. Plug open brake pipes to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.





1. Remove brake pipes from manifold valve.





2. Remove manifold valve-to-bracket attachment bolt.

INSTALLATION

1. Position manifold valve in vehicle and install attachment bolt.
Torque: Manifold Valve-to-Vehicle Bolt: 5 Nm (44 inch lbs.)
2. Install brake pipes-to-manifold valve.
Torque: Brake Pipes-to-Manifold Valve: 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.)
3. Fill brake fluid reservoir with clean brake fluid up to "MAX" mark on reservoir.
4. Bleed brakes.
