Tail Lamp: Service and Repair

TAIL LAMP

REMOVAL




1. Open rear liftgate and remove interior trim panel.
2. Remove fasteners from side of lamp assembly.
3. Disconnect harness assembly from tail lamp assembly.
4. Gently pull the tail lamp housing straight back.

INSTALLATION




1. Connect harness assembly to tail lamp assembly.
2. Align tail lamp to quarter panel and push gently forward until tab fits into quarter panel.
3. Tighten fasteners.

Torque:
Rear Tail Lamp-to-Rear Liftgate Fasteners: 3.5 N.m (31 in-lbs)

4. Close rear liftgate.
