Front Floor Console Compartment Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Adjust the front seat forward in the vehicle.
2. Open the rear cupholder door.
3. Remove the fasteners at the rear of the console assembly.




4. Lift up at the rear of the armrest, then push the armrest assembly rearward.
5. Remove the armrest assembly.



Installation Procedure

1. Tilt the front of the armrest down so the front retaining tab will slide under the edge of the console.
2. Align the side tabs.
3. Position your hand at the rear of the armrest.
4. Apply pressure towards the front of the vehicle while pushing down on the armrest assembly.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

5. Install the fasteners at the rear of the armrest and tighten.

Tighten the console arm rest fasteners to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).

6. Close the rear cupholder.
