Rear Seat Back Beam

REMOVAL




1. Lower passenger side rear seat back assembly.
2. Lower drivers side rear seat back assembly but do not let passenger side seat back latch engage with driver side.
3. Remove fastener plugs and access hole plug.




4. Using a flat blade screwdriver, disconnect latch hook from connecting rod.




5. Remove rear seat beam fasteners.
6. Remove seat back beam.

INSTALLATION




1. Position seat back beam over seat back.
2. Install rear seat back beam fasteners.

Torque:
Rear Folding Seat Back Beam Fasteners: 20 N.m (15 ft-lbs)




3. Using long nose pliers, snap latch hook into connecting rod.




4. Install fastener plugs and access hole plug.
5. Lift seat backs and check for proper seat back latch function.
