Window Guide Channel Replacement - Front Door (Coupe)

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the front door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement (Sedan/Window) (Front Side Door Window Replacement (Sedan/Window))Front Side Door Window Replacement (Coupe) (Front Side Door Window Replacement (Coupe)). The outer door panel is removed in the illustration to show the location.
2. Remove the front door window upper weatherstrip from the guide. Refer to Window Guide Channel Replacement - Front Door (Coupe) Window Guide Channel Replacement - Front Door (Sedan/Wagon) (Window Guide Channel Replacement - Front Door (Sedan/Wagon)).
3. Remove the attaching fasteners and remove the rear window guide.

Installation Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the rear window guide with 2 rivets and 1 nut.

Tighten the front door rear window guide bolt to 6 Nm (53 lb in).

2. Install the front door window upper weatherstrip. Refer to Window Guide Channel Replacement - Front Door (Coupe) Window Guide Channel Replacement - Front Door (Sedan/Wagon) (Window Guide Channel Replacement - Front Door (Sedan/Wagon)).
3. Install the front door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement (Sedan/Window) (Front Side Door Window Replacement (Sedan/Window))Front Side Door Window Replacement (Coupe) (Front Side Door Window Replacement (Coupe)).
4. Check the window for proper operation.
5. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
