Rear Side Door Window Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) (Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe))Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan/Wagon) (Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan/Wagon)). The outer panel is removed in the illustration to show the location.
2. Remove the inner belt seal molding.
3. Remove the door frame inner seal fixed glass assembly.
4. Partially remove the water deflector to access the openings in the door structure.
5. Lower the door window for access to the sash slide clips.
6. Depress the retaining clips and slide the window insulators (slide clips) from the window.
7. Rotate the window, push up, and then remove from the door.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the door window into the door and align the sash with the window insulator (slide clips).
2. Slide the sash onto the insulators.
3. Reinstall the door frame inner seal.
4. Install the inner belt seal. Check the window for proper operation.
5. Install the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Coupe) (Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Coupe))Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Sedan/Wagon) (Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Sedan/Wagon)).
6. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) (Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe))Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan/Wagon) (Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan/Wagon)).
