3. Input Shaft

1. Remove input shaft to converter O-ring and remove input shaft to stator shaft bearing.
2. Remove input shaft to stator shaft seals. Use care not to scratch shaft.
3. Remove the 2nd/reverse thrust bearing. Use care not to scratch shaft surfaces.
4. Remove the 2nd/reverse gear.
5. Remove the 2nd/reverse gear needle bearing.
6. Remove the 2nd/reverse gear thrust bearing.





7. Place press support under the 2nd/3rd gear clutch housing. Press off the following components:
7.1 2nd/reverse gear needle bearing race.
7.2 2nd/reverse drive gear thrust washer.
7.3 2nd/3rd gear clutch housing.





8. Remove 2/3 clutch housing thrust washer.
9. Remove clutch side 3rd drive gear thrust bearing.
10. Remove 3rd drive gear.
11. Remove 3rd drive gear thrust bearing.
12. Remove 3rd drive gear needle bearing.
13. Remove three O-ring clutch seals from their grooves on shaft.
