Input Shaft Roller (Quill) Bearing Removal

NOTICE: The clutch housing must be supported from underneath when pressing out the input shaft roller bearing. If the clutch housing is not supported, the housing may collapse.





1. Install Support Fixture SA9129T with Manual Transaxle Adapter Pad 216916 to clutch housing. After bolting to housing, tighten large center screw until adapter pad is snug against housing.





2. Place clutch housing on a press and install Quill Bearing Remover SA9128T into bearing and press out bearing.
3. If the clutch housing is to be reused:
3.1 Remove Support Fixture SA9129T and Manual Transaxle Adaptor Pad 216916.
3.2 Clean clutch housing.
3.3 Carefully inspect clutch housing for any cracks or other signs of damage.
