Front Wiper Motor (1ST Design)

Battery voltage for the front wiper motor is supplied from the 25 A WIPER fuse in the Instrument Panel Fuse Block (IPEB) through circuit 143 to terminal F of the front wiper motor. Circuit 143 supplies power to the front wiper motor, a transistor that allows current flow to the front washer pump motor, and the wiper control circuit board contained within the wiper motor housing. This wiper control circuit board supplies voltage to the front wiper switch through circuit 92 and circuit 96. The wiper control circuit board will control the front wiper motor based on inputs from the front wiper switch. The logic within the wiper control circuit board can determine the position of the front wiper switch based on the resistance of circuit 92 or circuit 96. The front wiper motor grounds through circuit 350 at I/P splice pack #1.
