51. Control Valve Body Cover Installation


Control Valve Body Cover Installation





1. Install a NEW control valve body cover gasket on the transmission case assembly.
2. Inspect the control valve body cover for damage.
3. Install the transmission vent cap.





4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the control valve body cover and 17 bolts on the transmission case assembly.
Tighten the bolts to 11 Nm (8 ft. lbs.) in the sequence shown.
