Transmission Speed Sensor: Service and Repair


Input and Output Speed Sensor Assembly Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the Control Valve body assembly.





2. Remove the 2 bolts and the input and output speed sensor assembly from the transmission case assembly.

Installation Procedure





1. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Install the input and output speed sensor assembly and the 2 bolts on the transmission case assembly.
Tighten the bolts to 11 Nm (8 ft. lbs.).
2. Install the Control Valve body assembly.
