Structural Reinforcement Inserts

All 2003 vehicles are equipped with structural reinforcement inserts located in the Front Body Hinge Pillar/Rocker area, and Upper Center Pillar Roof area. The purpose of the structural reinforcement inserts is to help distribute energy created from a collision through the entire vehicle. The front body hinge pillar/rocker area structural reinforcement inserts must be replaced when the front body hinge pillar is replaced. If the upper center pillar to roof area has visual damage above the section joint in the center pillar panel the structural reinforcement insert must be replaced.
