Rear Upper

REAR SUSPENSION UPPER CONTROL ARM(S)

^ TOOLS REQUIRED
- KM-906B Bushing Installer/Remover

REMOVAL





1. Remove rear suspension support assembly.
2. Remove rear suspension control arm to rear suspension support nut and bolt. Discard nut and bolt.
3. Remove control arm from suspension support.

DISASSEMBLY





1. Using bushing remover/installer Bushing Installer/Remover KM-906B(KM-906-70, KM-906-31, KM-906-32, and KM-906-34) remove control arm bushings.

ASSEMBLY





1. Using bushing remover/installer KM-906-70, KM-906-33, KM-906-35, and KM-906-34 wedge to press in new damping bushing.





NOTICE: New nut and bolt must be used. Torque retention of old nut and bolt may not be sufficient.

2. Install control arm to rear suspension support using new nut and bolt. Hold the bolt stationary while tightening the nut.
^ Rear Suspension Control Arm-to-Rear Suspension Support: 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.) + 60° to 75°

IMPORTANT: If installing a new crossmember, loosen the nut and bolt and re-torque to specification.

^ Crossmember Nut and Bolt: 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.) + 60° to 75°
3. Install rear suspension support into vehicle.
