Liftgate Latch Assembly

REMOVAL
1. Remove liftgate trim panel.
2. Remove two electrical connectors.
3. Remove liftgate latch assembly retaining bolts.
4. Pull down into view.
5. Disconnect latch cable from latch assembly by using a small screwdriver to disengage clip.
6. Remove latch assembly.

INSTALLATION




1. Reconnect latch cable to latch assembly.

Torque:
Latch Assembly Retaining Bolts: 10 N.m (89 in-lbs)

2. Position latch assembly in liftgate and install lock cylinder assembly retaining bolts.
3. Install two electrical connectors.
4. Install liftgate trim panel.
