Scan Tool Does Not Communicate With EBTCM

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The electronic brake traction control module (EBTCM) has a dedicated Keyword 2000 (KW 2000) data link. This data link is only used for diagnostics/reprogramming. If the Scan tool cannot establish communications with the EBTCM, the fault could be caused by:
^ KW 2000 link from the DLC to the EBTCM is open, shorted to ground, or shorted to voltage
^ A fault in the EBTCM
