Intake Manifold: Description and Operation

Intake Manifold - L61:

The SUV L61 intake manifold is a one-piece design. It is the mount location for the throttle body assembly and Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor. The throttle body and intake gasket utilizes re-usable O-ring seals if they are not damaged. This manifold also incorporates the positive crankcase ventilation system, which is achieved by a small orifice on the intake manifold. Crankcase pressure is then routed to each cylinder internally with the manifold.
