Backup Light Bulb: Service and Repair

TAIL LAMP BULB (REAR TURN SIGNAL, BACK UP LAMP, AND REAR PARK LAMP)

REMOVAL




1. Remove tail lamp housing to body fasteners.
2. Carefully slide tail lamp housing rearward away from vehicle.
3. Disconnect tail lamp housing electrical connector.
4. Remove tail lamp housing.
5. Rotate tail lamp bulb assembly counterclockwise and remove from housing.
6. Pull tail lamp bulb out of bulb socket.

INSTALLATION




1. Push new tail lamp bulb into bulb socket.
2. Insert tail lamp bulb assembly into tail lamp housing.
3. Rotate tail lamp bulb assembly clockwise until seated.
4. Connect tail lamp housing electrical connector.
5. Align tail lamp housing with vehicle.
6. Install tail lamp to body fasteners.

Torque:
Tail Lamp Housing-To-Body Fasteners: 2.5 N.m (22 in-lbs)
