Resonator: Service and Repair

AIR CLEANER OUTLET RESONATOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Loosen the air cleaner assembly fresh air duct to resonator clamp.
2. Loosen the outlet resonator clamps.
3. Remove the air outlet resonator.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the air outlet resonator.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Tighten the air outlet resonator clamps.

Tighten the clamps to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
