Maintenance Indicator Reset


GM OIL LIFE SYSTEM - RESETTING
1. With the engine running or the ignition key in "RUN" and the engine OFF.
2. Fully press the trip odometer reset stem once or twice until the "OIL LIFE" message is displayed and flashing in the message center.
3. Press and hold the trip odometer button on the instrument panel for a few seconds until a chime sounds five times.
4. The "OIL LIFE" message stays on without flashing when the reset button is complete. If the light comes on again and stays on for 30 seconds at the next ignition cycle, it did not reset.
5. Reset the system again.
