ONSTAR MICROPHONE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the windshield garnish trim.
2. Lower the headliner in the front only.
3. Reach into the assist microphone assembly while turning the assembly in a counter-clockwise direction
4. Disconnect the 2-way connector located above the headliner.
5. Snap the microphone out from the bezel.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the 2-way connector to microphone.
2. Insert the microphone assembly and rotate in a clockwise direction.
3. The microphone is directional in the bezel. Position the microphone so that the arrow on the back faces the driver.
4. Install the windshield garnish trim.
