Power Trunk / Liftgate Lock Switch: Service and Repair

REAR COMPARTMENT LID SWITCH REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the knee bolster trim panel.




2. Remove the retaining screw.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Remove the deflector from the I/P.
5. Remove the rear compartment lid switch from the deflector.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the rear compartment lid switch to the deflector.




2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Install the deflector to the I/P.
4. Install the retaining screw.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in)

5. Install the knee bolster trim panel.
