OVERHEAD CONSOLE - VES REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Lower the screen from the console.




2. Remove the dome light lens cover.




3. Remove the bulbs from the dome light.




4. Remove the screws from behind the screen.




5. Remove the screws from the dome light.




6. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the overhead console.




7. Remove the overhead console from the headliner.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the electrical connectors to the console.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




2. Install the screws to the dome light.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).




3. Install the screws to the rear of the DVD screen.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).




4. Install the bulbs in the dome light.




5. Install the dome light lens cover.




6. Raise the screen and lock the screen into place.
