Removal Procedure





1. Remove the disc brake caliper bolts (2). Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement - Rear.
2. Lightly wire brush all brake pad contact areas in order to remove any corrosion.
^ Binding
^ Seizing
^ Looseness in the caliper mounting
^ Bent or damaged caliper pins
^ Bent or damaged caliper mounting

3. Ensure the disc brake pads are held firmly in place on the caliper mounting, yet slide easily on the mounting hardware without binding.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the disc brake caliper and bolts (2). Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement - Rear.
2. Apply and release the brake pedal (3/4 stroke) as many times as necessary in order to obtain a firm brake pedal.
