Blower Motor Control Processor Replacement

BLOWER MOTOR CONTROL PROCESSOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the instrument panel storage compartment.




3. Remove the heater outlet retainer.
4. Remove the heater outlet.




5. Disconnect the recirculation actuator electrical connector.
6. Disconnect the aspirator hose and position the hose aside.




7. Remove the blower motor resistor screws.
8. Use the electrical harness to pull the blower motor control module out of the HVAC module.
9. Disconnect the blower motor control module electrical connector.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the blower motor control module electrical connector.
2. Install the blower motor control module to the HVAC module.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the blower motor control module screws.

Tighten the screws to 1.0 N.m (9 lb in).

4. Connect the aspirator hose.




5. Connect the recirculation actuator electrical connector.




6. Install the heater outlet.
7. Install the heater outlet retainer.
8. Install the instrument panel storage compartment.
9. Connect the negative battery cable.
